Today's catch caught 17 miles west of Dominica ...King fish and 2 Yellow Fin Tuna

Fishing with Tony Roudette and his nephew Yan, I had my first hands-on, by hand, experience catching, "pulling" fish from a set line as the local fishermen say and do.  I pulled the King fish, first pic top left below, and the smaller tuna, bottom right.  I'll need a lot more practice before pulling a big one.  Tune are extremely fast swimmers and very strong. Muscling one on board from a depth of 90- 250 feet takes skill and a lot of practice in maneuvering the fish to the top and keeping the 200-300 lb. monofilament line from slipping through hands and remaining aware of the line coming onboard, tactfully pulled in and piled at one's bare feet.  Tony's boat (orange) can seen in the background of the 2 bottom photos.
